Trapping for corn earworm has been underway for a few weeks now throughout the state. You can visit this website to get the most updated information: https://extension.entm.purdue.edu/veg/cornearworm/. We have traps deployed throughout the state, so locate the one nearest to your farm to see the most recent activity. Currently, we are experiencing high trap catches in Montgomery, Tippecanoe and Lawrence counties. If you are growing in these areas and have green silk present on your crop, now is the time to be managing this pest.
