Young bagworms are hard to see even as they approach an inch in length. Control is most effective when bags are less than 1 inch long. This occurs in late June or early July. | ![]() |

Fall webworm make very large webs at the edge of branches. These webworms have 2 generations a year. Best control is acheived by targetting the first generation. | ![]() |
Look for small webs in the first generation. Prune them out or spray them with an appropriate insecticide. |
