Woodlouse Scones


  • 25 Grams of butter
  • 2 c. Flour
  • 2 t. Baking soda
  • 2-4 "Rashers" of bacon
  • 1/2 Onion (medium size)
  • 3/4 c. Milk
  • 2 T. Killed woodlice


Mix flour and baking powder in a bowl. Add butter and rub into dry ingredients. Add bacon, onion, and woodlice, mix in and then add milk. Mix, the dough should be soft enough to roll out onto the counter top. Add extra milk or flour as needed. Roll out into a 20-24 cm square, cut into nine squares and bake at 200° for about 10-15 minutes. *NOTE: Scones are mostly an English treat. Therefore, some conversions may need to be made from metrics, etc.
