Basic Cooked Insects

Ingredients

  • 1 c. Cleaned insects
  • 2 c. Water
  • 1 t. Salt
  • 2 Dashes pepper
  • 1 T. Butter
  • 1/2 t. Sage
  • 2 T. Onion, finely chopped

Recipe

Place ingredients in a medium-sized saucepan. Bring to a boil and allow to simmer for 30 minutes or until tender.
