Forensics Science Club

The purpose of the club is to allow students to get together to share their interest in forensic science. The club has hadvarious speakers for meetings on subjects such as cadaver dogs, disguised weapons, and other subjects of interest to students. The club also schedules activities and field trips. Some of the club activities are observing pig necropsies, a field trip to the morgue, and helping out with Spring Fest. The club, through their sales of t-shirts, lanyards, and evidence kits (used in the Criminalistics and Advanced Criminalistics courses) has donated $1,000. to the Department of Entomology for new forensic equipment.
