British yellowhead has been primarily found in Hosta plants imported from the Netherlands and has led to concern over its potential as an aggressive weed in the United States. Roots and rhizomes of british yellowhead become intertwined with the root systems of Hosta and remain even after the Hosta rootstocks are washed and shipped. British yellowhead can be easily confused with other closely related plants. <www.invasive.org>
